For this centennial exhibition, celebrating 100 years of the Museum of the City of New York, we had over 400 works of art, music, literature, and film to display across six unique environments–each devoted to a specific aspect of NYC lifestyle as reflected in arts and culture. Inspired by the streets and subways as the arteries of the city, destinations, and home spaces on display, we transformed the galleries while still allowing artworks to breathe and maintain the ethereal nature of creativity. I collaborated with outside design studios and internal stakeholders to develop the look and feel of these spaces, ensuring the spirit of the graphic design was felt throughout the different elements of the exhibition and interactive interfaces.
